Συμμετοχή στη Διεθνή Συνέλευση Έρευνας για το Μελάνωμα στις ΗΠΑ
Ο Ιατρός Θεοφάνης Ειρ. Φλώρος, Παθολόγος- Ογκολόγος, Αναπληρωτής Διευθυντής της Ογκολογικής Κλινικής του Ναυτικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών, συμμετείχε στη Διεθνή Συνέλευση Έρευνας για το Μελάνωμα, 20-23 Νοεμβρίου 2019, στην πόλη Salt Lake στη Utah των ΗΠΑ. Είναι η κορυφαία συνάντηση για τη μελέτη των δεδομένων στο μελάνωμα, με μέλη πάνω από 1.000 ειδικοί επιστήμονες και ερευνητές που ασχολούνται με το μελάνωμα.
The SMR was founded to unify the field by increasing communication among researchers and building bridges of collaboration between basic, translational and clinical investigators.
The Society for Melanoma Research’s principal goal is bringing together members who vary widely in their professions—from basic researchers to translational researchers to clinicians. Each shares an abiding devotion to improving the lives of those suffering from melanoma through research. Ιs a global congress that unites melanoma clinicians and researchers to focus on multidisciplinary management of melanoma/skin cancer. It provides key insight into the practical advantages of multidisciplinary care of patients with cutaneous malignancies.
